Hip-hop with an Aussie accent

It isn't every day you hear an Aussie accent in a hip-hop song.

However, Sydney-based hip-hop trio Bliss 'n' Eso's are making in-roads in the US-heavy music genre with their distinctly Australian flavour of hip hop.
The crew's second album Flying Colours launched last month and entered the charts at No. 10 thanks to its range of funky melodies that include Bullet and a Target, which features the 21-member Connections Zulu Choir.

Bliss 'N' Eso comprises American born MC Bliss and Australians MC Esoterik and DJ Izm who have rapped together since high school. They burst onto the Australian music scene in 2000 and, in 2003, were winners of the Hip Hop category at the 2003 Music Oz Awards.
The trio are about to undergo a national tour where, they estimate, they'll travel 13,189km to 25 universities across the country. They'll be joined on tour by True Live, The Funkours and The Winnie Coopers.
